TGIF...
1. We finally have a decent Spring weather day...and my plants are very happy, because I've had to take them in every night it's been so cold. But no more...
2. I love going out in the early morning to hear the birdsongs...it's heavenly!
3. Kids say the darndest things...when a young friend, age 3 was first introduced to her new baby girl cousin, she replied, "What's the point of her?" Crack me up! Out of the mouths of babes! Wonder where that relationship is headed...
4. This is the first weekend in many that I have no plans...and that means I can do whatever I want!
GO ME!!! I deserve it! So, a little bit of this, a little bit of that, and probably some of that, if I feel like it...and a lot of that...hee hee!
5. Before our last child of 3 graduated from college last week, my husband bought me a dozen red roses...to thank me for being the footing that launched those 3 very successful college educations...how sweet is that? Of course, the 3 kiddies would probably say it was that footing that kicked them in the behind to keep them going! YES, IT'S ALL GOOD!

In the Now
1. This lovely fence photo is before the rains came and helped put out the massive ridge fire. It has been raining for days, and days. And anyway, I LOVE THE RAIN!
2. The baby little is graduating from college, 1 year early saving me a boatload of moola, and has already landed a job! TALK ABOUT BEING BLESSED!
3. A good friend of mine and her hubby, with their 3 young children packed up their entire house in 24 hours, and moved far away for a his job. I CAN'T IMAGINE PACKING AN ENTIRE HOUSE IN 24 HOURS...YIKES!
4. Someone gifted me a gorgeous purple orchid that is thriving on my desk! I CAN'T BELIEVE I HAVEN'T KILLED IT YET!
5. This Mother's Day is my oldest daughter's birthday. How fitting, because she was the first one to make me a MOM! I CELEBRATE MOTHER'S DAY ON MY CHILDREN'S BIRTHDAYS! YEP, 3 MOTHER'S DAYS FOR ME! And on Mother's Day, I honor my own Mother.

So This is Spring???
Glad to back with Nancy for Random 5 Friday.
1. This week started out like this. Yes, snow in April! The birds and animals are very confused. The daffodils had a short stay.
2. We enjoyed a wonderful outing for a concert with the New York Wind Symphony featuring local cellist Eileen Moon of the NY Philharmonic under the direction of Johan de Meij. And the icing on that cake was that our daughter performed with them on clarinet, just as she did at their debut performance at Carnegie Hall. BRAVO!
3. I am vowing to tackle at least one pile of "stuff" left behind from each of the 3 littles who made us "empty nesters". Empty? Ha! So, I guess that is 3 piles of "stuff". I am prepared with large boxes for donation, and an extra large trash bin. I warned them that anything left behind is fair game.
4. Hubby has date night planned for tomorrow, though truth be told, I would much rather stay home by the fire with a glass of wine and a good movie. Yes, more snow is on the way.
5. A wonderful friend just gifted me these lovely eggs from her free range chickens. What wonderful timing, because this morning before work, I had 1 egg left! I just love how the Universe speaks to me!

Clarity
| Dewdrops taken with Samsung Galaxy S3 |
1. A new day dawns, leaving dewdrops on the tips of the still green blades of grass. It is a simple JOY as the Universe continues its conversation with me and reaches into the depths of my soul to keep me in tune.

2. The cosmic energy that flows through the atmosphere is very powerful if you are attuned and open to receive it in all of its positive glory.
The Shawankgunk Ridge provides a vantage point for a fantastic view in the fall.
Slip into a pair of Nike sneaks and hit the trails.
3. There is much peace in Mother Nature for the seeker.
4. The colors of Autumn are a message of transformation...there is an alteration taking place. I like to think of it as a renewal, for this is the time that Mother Nature takes hold and preserves all the goodness & beauty that was bestowed upon us through Spring, into Summer until now, as she prepares for rest and renewal.
