In The Good Old Summertime

Oh, the last of the gorgeous poppies from Andrea's garden!
And if it's purple, it must be in Nina's garden...

Thankfully, the busy little bee is doing it's thing with my primrose!
And the icing on this cake of the Summer Solstice, is the Strawberry Moon.  Now, if only I had taken a picture of those wonderful tasting new strawberries from the local farm, I would show them.   Some went into a berry trifle, and I just finished off the rest for my lunch.  And some of them were so itty bitty, tiny and cute...but I ate every last one.  Gonna stop on my way home for more!

Yes, with Spring starting out in snow, and the cold windy days lasting right up until a couple weeks ago, we are finally embracing the GOOD OLD SUMMERTIME!  90 degree temps and all!

Stop by to visit a blog friend, Deborah at Temenos of the Blessing Light to see her post about this wonderful day of the Summer Solstice and the Strawberry Moon!

Looking forward to the Garden Tour this weekend at Andrea's!   Aloha Friends!

  1. Thanks for the shout out Vicki. Summer has arrived here in a blaze of sunny hotness as well. Like Nina, my clematis is loving it and is blooming its heart out. But your lovely little happy bee playing in a primrose paradise is my fave photo for sure. Happy Summer!
