Opportunities

"When one door closes, another opens: but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us."
~ Alexander Graham Bell
Many opportunities in life have passed us by because we are not paying attention to the grand scheme of things.  We've all had to face those bummers along the way, and some of them are very harsh realities.  And we can wallow in self-pity endlessly, wondering all the while...WHY ME???  And gee, what did I ever do to deserve this???

However, the grand plan for each and every one of us is to rise above the "woe is me" moments in life and exercise the very free will of choice that was bestowed upon us by our creator.

Yes dammit...grab that key of dreams and aspirations...and open that door to what awaits, as you step away from the past and right into what God has intended for you and your life on this Earth.  And know this...He can't do it for you...He cannot intervene without an invitation, it is up to you...so open wide and let the light and love of the Divine guide you through that door to your true destiny!

 Always, always give thanks...
 And always, always know that YOU ARE LOVED!!!

Matthew 7:7
 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find;
knock, and it shall be opened unto you...

When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us. Alexander Graham Bell

  2. When things don't go my way and I'm disappointed I have to remind myself that God is the one in control and He knows best. We can only see part of the picture but He sees it all.

  4. it's easy to say... when everything in your life is knocking down on you and pushing you into the ground... I'm not sure if I'm strong enough to lift it again. It's easier to let it surround you and crush you with the pain and loneliness.
    Sometimes the most important is someone's presence, but if you have no one to count on? What next? God? He won't help you too :( Some time ago I was counting on him too, but he had disappointed me as well. We'll see what the future will bring to us. Maybe there is still some chance to be calm and fulfilled.

    1. Olka...You are not alone! And God does answer our prayers. Perhaps it is you that is disappointing God... God cannot intervene without your help. You are loved! And please remember, in the grand scheme of things, some things just DO NOT MATTER! Don't be so hard on yourself!
