Love in Spring

Well, even though Old Man Winter has been so clingy,
SPRING has finally SPRUNG!

It has been an especially wonderful coming of Spring, with all the kiddies coming home to visit with their significant "others".

Yes, LOVE IS IN THE AIR, allright!
And Mom and Dad are very happy and proud of our 3 children!

It is not always easy to stand quietly on the sidelines as our children go off into the world and make those inevitable poor choices at times, but as parents we all know that is how they learn and grow.

Of course, we also know that the more we push, the further they run!  My children have heard it so many times...
"MOTHER KNOWS BEST", yet I will never say to them...
"I TOLD YOU SO!"

So at this stage of all of our lives,
I can honestly say that we are blessed!

Trials and tribulations along the way, including some life threatening illnesses, have made each and every one of us stronger, and have brought us closer to the Light and Source of Love Divine!

It's a glorious feeling!

LOVE IS ALL THERE IS!

  3. Happy Spring to you! I also enjoy good weather and blooming plants!
I think we should let kids make their own mistakes! I was always mad at my mom, because she always wanted the best for me and warned me about everything! She didn't let me make any mistakes, she actually didn't want me to make any decision, which could lead to some issues! I couldn't take a risk, because she always frightened me with the consequences...
And now I realized, that I have nothing, which is completetly mine! Everything I have reached is what she wanted me to do.
I started to making my own decisions without saying her anything. I just have to make it on my own, because it's my life. She has her own, and she can't live my life too...
Actually, I'm not angry at her right now, I know that she wanted me to be happy, but she has no idea how much she hurt me...

    1. Parenting is not an easy job. And I do remember going back to my own parents as a grown-up, and a new parent to tell them...OK, LISTEN UP, CAUSE I'M ONLY GONNA SAY IT ONCE...YOU WERE RIGHT! We had a good laugh! I'm happy that our 3 grown-ups are all happy and of course, healthy! I'm glad that you have let your anger towards your mother go. It will eat you alive, and keep your true light from shining! ONWARD! God Bless!

  5. A lovely and uplifting post! The flowers are so pretty. I agree that we have to let our children fly and learn on their own. Now I am a grandmother and sometimes it is hard not to give advice. I just bite my tongue and remember how independent I wanted to be! Happy Spring! xx Karen
